This chapter presents a cloud-native hyperautomation architecture integrating Camunda workflow orchestration with Amazon Bedrock foundation models to enable intelligent enterprise workflows. The proposed framework combines BPMN-driven orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, event-driven microservices, vector databases, and intelligent document processing to support enterprise-scale automation.

Practical implementations for banking and insurance are explored, including AI-assisted customer onboarding, AML/KYC verification, intelligent claims processing, fraud investigations, underwriting automation, and AI copilots for operational support. The chapter further examines workflow governance, AI explainability, prompt security, auditability, and human-in-the-loop control mechanisms required for regulated industries.

A scalable architecture leveraging Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS Lambda, OpenSearch, Textract, and Camunda external task workers is proposed to support resilient and secure AI-native workflow platforms. The study contributes a practical implementation model and enterprise architecture framework for organizations transitioning from traditional BPM toward autonomous hyperautomation ecosystems.
