Since the 8.1 release of Camunda, out-of-the-box connectors, connector templates and the associated SDK are available. They promise users to automate business processes faster. Furthermore, developer-friendliness and flexibility should not be neglected. Join Thomas from Miragon as he gives us some closer insights on the connectors technology and demonstrates where this can lead to a significant advantage. Nevertheless, we will also critically examine this new approach and deduce when it might not be such a good idea to rely on connectors during this talk. Summarising this session we will look at various alternatives from the community which promise to achieve something very similar.
