You've heard the call. You've watched the demos. You've put together your first "Hello, World" process with Camunda. You've even created your very first decision table. Now you want to take it to the next level and start automating process throughout your organisation. You quickly realise there are some things they didn't tell you.

Camunda is a powerful and flexible tool and because of those characteristics, using it beyond the "getting started" stage also comes with the task of deciding when and how to use it. Nobody will or can tell you upfront what those choices might (have to) be.

You will need to integrate Camunda into the architecture of your (other) applications. Your process solutions will need data from various places.

Just as you deliver the automated process, the business requires a change to it. The process engine needs updating and things have changed in the meantime. And despite all your best efforts, there are some who are starting to doubt that all this effort is worth it and others who don't seem to understand how it all fits together.

Do I have all the answers, then? No, but I've come across some of these these challenges and choices before. Let's see what we can learn from one another.
